Physical Access Control Authentication

Welcome to Wink performs authentication using a proprietary Facial Motion Password (FMP) system that relies on dynamic, user-specific facial gestures rather than static images. During registration, each individual selects and performs a personalized facial motion—such as a wink, smile, or mouthed phrase—three times to establish a unique motion pattern. When authenticating, the Wink camera captures a short facial video and analyzes it in real time, verifying not only the person’s facial features but also the precise motion sequence and timing. This dual verification—of both identity and motion—prevents spoofing by photos, masks, or deepfakes, ensuring that access is granted only to the live, legitimate user performing their registered facial motion.
