Authentiface Biometric Consent

  1. Purpose and Scope

Authentiface, Inc. (“Company”) provides a biometric authentication service that generates an encrypted, encoded representation of your biometric identifier (e.g., facial geometry, facial motion) on your device(s). This service allows users to authenticate into systems without storing any personally identifiable information (PII). No raw biometric data or PII is transmitted off premise or stored off-device, and the encoded template cannot be reverse‑engineered to reconstruct the original biometric information.

  1. Consent to Capture and Use

Voluntary Consent – By enrolling in Authentiface’s biometric authentication service, you consent to the capture and use of your biometric identifier for the sole purpose of authentication. The Company will not use a person’s biometric identifier without consent and will not reuse previously collected biometric data without renewed consent.

Scope of Use – Your biometric identifier will be converted into an encrypted template and used only to verify your identity when you choose to log in.

No Sale or Disclosure – Authentiface does not sell, lease, or disclose your biometric information to any third party and does not use biometric data for marketing or profiling. Such deceptive trade practices involving biometric data are prohibited.

  1. Data Security and Storage

On‑Device Storage – All biometric templates are stored solely on your device. Authentiface servers never receive or store any biometric identifier or PII.

Encryption – Biometric templates are encrypted using industry‑standard cryptography.

No PII Collection – Authentiface does not collect names, phone numbers, addresses or other identifiable data about you.

  1. Retention and Destruction

Retention Period – Your biometric template remains on your device(s) only while you actively use the service.

Deactivation – If you delete your account or disable biometric authentication, the biometric template will be permanently deleted from your device.

No Reuse Without Consent – Authentiface will not attempt to use prior biometric data once consent is withdrawn.

  1. Your Rights

Right to Refuse – You may opt out of biometric authentication at any time. Alternative non‑biometric authentication methods will be provided.

Right to Access – You may request information on how your biometric data is processed and stored.

Right to Delete – Upon request or account termination, you may direct Authentiface to ensure deletion of any biometric templates on your device(s).

  1. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in Authentiface’s biometric authentication service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Biometric Consent Agreement. You consent to the capture, use and secure storage of your biometric identifier solely for authentication purposes as described. You affirm that you understand:

The Company does not store or transmit raw biometric data; only an encrypted template is used.

The Company does not collect PII, and the biometric template is stored on your device(s).

You may withdraw your consent at any time, and the biometric template will be deleted.
