Authentiface secures a strategic investment from the Utah Innovation Fund

Provo, UT – April 25, 2024Authentiface, Inc., a Utah-based AI Vision company specializing in next-generation facial authentication, today announced it has secured a strategic investment from the Utah Innovation Fund.

The Utah Innovation Fund was established by the State of Utah to elevate the state’s economy by commercializing technologies discovered, advanced, or developed at Utah’s higher education institutions. Its mission is to support and fund promising startups working on innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Founded in 2021, Authentiface has developed a patent-pending, resettable biometric authentication method that combines facial identity and a unique facial motion password into a single, seamless step—delivering robust two-factor authentication without the need for physical tokens or long passwords.

“We’re honored to receive this support from the Utah Innovation Fund,” said Dr. Lee, CEO of Authentiface, Inc. “This investment is a vote of confidence in our vision to redefine digital security and create accessible, secure authentication for everyone.”

The investment will accelerate Authentiface’s product rollout, expand industry partnerships, and drive commercialization efforts across the identity and access management (IAM) and physical access control systems (PACS) sectors.
